Jennie Esdale

Jennie is a director, actor, theatre creator, facilitator and instructor. She is program director of Outreach, Development, Education at Theatre Aquarius. Originally from Alberta, credits include: Theatre Calgary, Alberta Theatre Projects, National Arts Centre, The Citadel Theatre, Manitoba Theatre Centre, Ghost River Theatre, The Only Animal, Mammalian Diving Reflex. She was co-Artistic Director of Calgary’s Green Fools Theatre, her works have toured Canada, US, Brazil, Japan. Nominated for Best New Play & Outstanding Performance twice, winning Performance; nominated for Outstanding Production of A Musical; nominated twice and won Outstanding Achievement in TYA. She is a member of CAEA and Playwrights Guild of Canada.

Janelle Cooper

Janelle is a writer, performer, singer, and producer. Janelle received her BFA, specializing in performance creation. Credits include: Teatro Proscenium, National Arts Centre, Alberta Theatre Projects, Theatre Calgary, the Elgin Theatre, Neptune Theatre, The Citadel Theatre, Ellipsis Tree Collective. Janelle was recently honoured with national theatre awards for her leading role in The Colour Purple. Janelle is the Artistic Director of Randolph College for the Performing Arts. 

Amanda DeFreitas

Amanda is a Hamilton artist who has performed in the Broadway, Toronto, and the U.S. touring cast of the musical Hairspray, and was in the smash-hit musical The Lion King for 4 yrs. She has performed in multiple other musicals as well as in Film, and T.V.  Recently, she performed in Capitol Theatres’ production of THE LITTLE MERMAID and Obeah Opera. Amanda is a graduate of Canada’s National Ballet School’s teacher’s program.

Treasa Levasseur

Treasa is a Juno nominated musician, has produced multiple albums, and has toured extensively, including performances at Massey Hall, Montreal Jazz Fest, NXNE, and festivals from Iqaluit to Dublin. She received her BFA from Ryerson. Select music director/ performer credits include Fixt Point, LabCab, Aluna Theatre. She is the facilitator of Imagine in the park. Treasa has taught singing, composition and music across Ontario, including Tarragon Theatre, Theatre Direct, Learning Through the Arts, Sing from the Start.

Melissa Murray Mutch

Melissa is an actor and teaching artist from New York. She has worked with Manhattan Theater Club for more than 17 years as well as NYU’s Dramatic Writing Dept. Theatre credits include: Lincoln Center, Hudson Theatreworks, Fire This Time Festival, New Perspectives Theater, Women’s Playwrights Festival, The New Ohio Theater, Shaker Bridge Theater. Film/T.V. credits include Law and Order: SVUSabrina the Teenage WitchSesame Street. She is a member of CAE, AEA & SAGAFTRA.

Stacy Smith

Stacy is a performer, theatre creator and arts educator. As an actor, credits include with: Drayton Entertainment, Theatre Aquarius, Ships Company, Theatre New Brunswick, Theatre Neptune. She has multiple film and tv credits and was nominated for a Genie Awards for New Waterford Girl. Stacy has taught theatre extensively at theatre schools, programs and universities.
