HAMILTON, June 27, 2022 — Championed by new artistic leadership and fueled by a pro-active response to COVID-19, Theatre Aquarius is embarking on a digital transformation. With the support of the Ontario Trillium Foundation Resilient Communities Fund, the Theatre is reimagining the delivery of programs and services and is committed to a bold digital transformation.
“This $40,900 Resilient Communities Grant is helping us move forward into the digital realm, build new audiences, and serve more people,” said Lorna Zaremba, Executive Director. “Our research shows that the appetite is there for high-quality digital programming – from artist talks to knowledge sharing, creative programming, training and outreach activities – and we are excited to take this step forward.”
Theatre Aquarius embraced the pandemic as a time of change and renewal, an opportunity to re-engage our existing audiences and reach new diverse audiences. This bold digital strategy will expand the traditional “theatre space” exponentially.
