Through an inclusive lens, Theatre Aquarius’ Outreach programs provide children, youth, and young adults from diverse communities across Hamilton with high quality, accessible theatre arts educational programs that are meaningful and relevant. Our programs are collaboratively developed with emerging artists in partnership with a number of community organizations.
Our goal is to address systemic barriers to the performing arts and create safe and inclusive spaces for children and young people. We offer a range of vital Outreach programs including:
- Indigenous Arts programs
- Newcomer Arts programs
- LGBTQ+ Arts programs
- Play Club for Underserved Youth
- Sponsored Theatre School Registrations
Through storytelling, playwriting, theatre performance, and mask making, our programs foster self-expression, personal growth, self-esteem, communication skills and group bonds, and encourage the sharing of diverse narratives and perspectives. - Sponsored Ticket Program

For the first time in their lives, our kids were exposed to a world of magic that one can only be exposed to through art. Thank you Theatre Aquarius for opening your doors and exposing newcomer children to the beautiful world of theatre.
