Admissions

by Joshua Harmon

January 27 – February 13, 2021

‘Provocative. Outrageous. Entirely gripping’. – Evening Standard (UK)

Sherri is Head of Admissions at a private school, a liberal who is fighting to diversify the student intake and a mother who wants the best for her son. When her son is deferred from his university of choice, and his best friend – who ‘ticks more boxes’ – is accepted, her personal ambition collides with her progressive values and she is forced to make a choice between her beliefs and what’s right for her son.

Admissions has ‘the force of a bulldozer and the precision of a scalpel’ (Metro) and this ‘Sharp. Thoughtful’ (Evening Standard) new play will leave you questioning the status quo.

Deadline

by Marcia Kash & Douglas E. Hughes

March 3 – March 20, 2021

When a famous playwright dies unexpectedly and leaves behind his highly-anticipated but unfinished play, mystery writers Don and Mara are hired to complete it in time for an imminent Broadway opening. With the clock ticking, they attempt to get inside the playwright’s creative mind; and in the process, they find themselves players in the story he has created, trapped aboard a luxury yacht sailing around the Caribbean with members of the infamous Bloodworth family. When one of their shipmates is murdered—and with the threat of more murders to come—Don and Mara realize that solving this whodunnit has literally become a matter of life and death. The only chance they have of returning home is to give this twisted story an ending—before they meet their own.

Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story

Written by Alan Janes

April 21 – May 15, 2021

Buddy – The Buddy Holly Story tells the true story of Buddy’s meteoric rise to fame, from the moment in 1957 when ‘That’ll be The Day’ hit the airwaves until his tragic death less than two years later on “The Day the Music Died”. The show features over 20 of Buddy Holly’s greatest hits including ‘That’ll be The Day’, ‘Peggy Sue’, ‘Everyday’, ‘Oh Boy’, ‘Not Fade Away’, ‘rave On’ and ‘raining In My Heart’, plus Ritchie Valens’ ‘la Bamba’ and the Big Bopper’s ‘Chantilly Lace’.

The incredible legacy of the young man with glasses, whose musical career spanned an all-too-brief period during the golden days of rock & roll, continues to live on in Buddy.

Seen by over 22 million people around the world, Buddy will have you on your feet and “send you out of the theater on an unstoppable high” (Boston Globe).
