NCNM 2024: THE PRYCE ACADEMY

Philip McKee is a director, writer and psychotherapist who lives in Toronto. He has
directed over 50 plays, and worked in the UK, Mexico, Ireland, Italy, Germany and
Kenya. Creation work includes adaptations/deconstructions of classic texts: LEAR
(World Stage, Harbourfront Centre; The Magnetic North Festival); Much Ado About
Nothing (NTSC); Bloody Family/Oresteia (The Theatre Centre). Film projects include:
Torching the Dusties, adapted from the story by Margaret Atwood, and Piano Lessons,
adapted from a story by Alice Munro. Philip is a graduate of The National Theatre
School of Canada.
