Renowned trombonist and composer, William Carn, has solidified his position as a leading figure in Canadian jazz. A Juno Award winner for Best Jazz Group with Turboprop in 2020, Carn has performed extensively both nationally and internationally.
Throughout his illustrious career, Carn has shared the stage and studio with jazz luminaries such as Rob McConnell, Randy Brecker, Kenny Wheeler, and Carla Bley. His diverse musical journey extends beyond the jazz realm, encompassing collaborations with pop icons like Janelle Monae and Aretha Franklin. He has also been a prominent figure in Canadian theater, performing in pit orchestras for prestigious productions at Mirvish Productions and the Stratford Festival over the past 20 years.
