Dance Instructor / Choreographer
Skye Rogers (she/her) is very excited to return to the Theatre School at Aquarius for her third session as a Dance Instructor & Choreographer!
Skye is a dance and theatre artist based in Hamilton, dearly devoted to making spaces for people to feel at home. As an educator, Skye is dedicated to the whole dancer: connecting movement to performance, and technique to emotion. Her creative process has a collaborative spirit, and she brings her diverse dance background, from ballet and contemporary, to tap and jazz, into her created movement. She is an alumnus of Randolph College’s Performing Arts Program, Brock University’s Arts Leadership Program, and Musical Stage Co.’s RBC Apprentice Choreographer Program. She is currently an Artistic Associate with Aeris Körper Contemporary Dance, and works with her collective, retrograde: dance in motion, to create new dance-theatre works that explore community and connection.
