Other: Mandy Roveda was the Co-founding Artistic Director of Taipei Players, Taipei’s first English-language theatre company, and the Founder/Host of Taipei Story Slam (Taiwan). She served as Resident Director and Artistic Associate of The Secret Session: The Movie Experience, staging immersive productions of cult classics including Anchorman, Ghostbusters, Shaun of the Dead, and The Princess Bride (Toronto). Mandy also co-founded It’s Not a Pivot Productions and Mandy’s Wee Theatre. An experienced educator, she has taught at institutions worldwide and is currently Professor and Coordinator of the Acting for Film and Media program at George Brown College. Now based in Hamilton, Mandy feels incredibly lucky to be part of the city’s creative community and is deeply thankful for the chance to collaborate with Theatre Aquarius.
