Karim is a Toronto-based actor and musician whose screen credits include The Lost Callers List, YYZ, Late Bloomer, and Click Bush Train Bug. A graduate of Toronto Metropolitan University’s Performance Acting Program, Karim brings a dynamic blend of personal experience and formal training to his work.
Originally from Pakistan, he immigrated to Canada in 2014, where he quickly recognized the possibilities the arts offered him in his new home. Influenced early on by his older brother, who introduced him to classic films like The Breakfast Club, Star Wars, and Ace Ventura, Karim developed a deep passion for storytelling. By the age of 15, after encouragement from a high school drama teacher, he committed to pursuing acting professionally, and hasn’t looked back since.
Beyond acting, Karim is also a musician who is crazy about rock music! He plays in the Toronto-based band Mind Your Language, channelling the same creative energy and integrity into his music as he does his performances on screen and stage. Whether acting or making music, Karim continues to explore his craft with curiosity, heart, and drive.
