GO, GO, GO Joseph!
This term, students will rehearse and perform highlights from the musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, developing their vocal technique, acting skills, and choreography throughout the session.
As a special bonus this fall/winter, Showstoppers students will also have the incredible opportunity/option to perform as part of the Children’s Chorus in Theatre Aquarius’ Mainstage holiday production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat*. Working alongside professional artists, students will gain firsthand experience performing in a professional theatre production and create unforgettable memories on the Mainstage.
The excitement doesn’t stop there! Students will also represent Theatre Aquarius by performing our national anthem at a Forge FC match on October 12th, sharing their talents with a live stadium audience.*

*This is an unpaid, optional opportunity and a a more detailed schedule will be provided along with a parent information session.

Once Upon A Stage Acting: Grades 2 - 3
Our smallest but mightiest actors will write a play together that explores the world of the mischievous and the refined… and what happens when they collide! Bananas! Crowns! Chaos! Taught in a supportive and ensemble-based environment, the class culminates in an in-class performance for family and friends. Newcomers welcome!
Drama Dreamers Acting: Grade 4-6
Something strange is happening in the kitchen... In Food Fright, students will create an original Halloween-themed play through improvisation, character creation, and collaborative storytelling. The actors will build skills, creativity, and confidence. The term concludes with a final showcase of their original haunted masterpiece! Newcomers welcome.
Theatre Lab Acting: Grade 7-8
What happens when a group of unlikely heroes finds themselves stranded among the stars? In Space Junk, students will work together to devise an original sci-fi adventure filled with mystery, humour, and unexpected twists. The term culminates in a final performance of their original theatrical creation. Newcomers welcome!
