David Gray is a music producer/engineer, musician and songwriter based in Toronto & Nova Scotia.
Throughout his career, he has enjoyed working with Canadian and international artists from a wide cross-section of music genres including: Parachute Club, Angelique Kidjo, Allanah Myles, Paul Butterfield, Holly Cole, Buffy St. Marie and La La La Human Steps to name a few.
As a producer/engineer his credits include: Juno-award winners Lorraine Segato, Lillian Allen and Fathead as well as Grammy award nominee Glenda del E.
Theatre credits include: Jersey Boys, Dear Evan Hansen, Mamma Mia, 9 to 5, Chicago, Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (all Mirvish) and Jersey Boys (Dancap). He has also worked extensively with Ross Petty Production panto including The Wizard of Oz, Beauty and the Beast, Robin Hood, Cinderella … and many more!
A high point for David was leading the band for the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame, performing “Oh What a Feeling” by Hamilton’s own Crowbar with the great Tom Wilson.
