Deborah is a writer and dramaturg who specializes in musical theatre and comedy. As a writer, Deborah’s theatre credits include Little Sausage (The Other Palace), BUSK (Upstart Theatre), Big Sister (The Cultch), Sylvia’s Hotel (Kol Halev), Finding FaceTime (Touchstone Theatre), and Carry On (Awkward Stage). As a dramaturg, she has worked on over fifty new musicals in Canada, the UK, and beyond. She co-founded Chalk Dramaturgy, a company dedicated to supporting the development of new musicals for writers of all levels. In television, Deborah has been working in the writers room for Hope Valley: 1874 and When Hope Calls.
