Originally from Liverpool, Gillian began her training when she was accepted into the Royal Ballet School in London. Graduating with honours, she went on to perform with several ballet companies including The Royal Ballet, Northern Ballet Theatre and The National Ballet of Canada. Her debut in musical theatre was in the original Toronto company of The Phantom of the Opera where she performed the principal role of Meg Giry. She spent six years touring with Donny Osmond as Dance Captain and Children’s Choir Director in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Having completed her M.A. in Dance at York University, she is currently the Dance Faculty Lead in the Bachelor Music-Theatre Performance Program at Sheridan College.
