Hailey Lewis is an Afro-Canadian triple-threat artist and graduate of the Music Theatre degree program at Sheridan College. “As part of the 2019 cast of Hairspray at Theatre Aquarius and my favourite memory from that show, was performing “You Can’t Stop the Beat”, and every night seeing audience members beaming, dancing, and singing along from the seats!
Musical Theatre has brought me the joy of storytelling through dialogue, music, song, and dance, and has become just as meaningful for me to perform as it is for audiences to watch. It has also allowed me to be the representation and inspiration that I saw growing up for young aspiring musical theatre artists.”
