Jeysa de la Caridad is a first generation Canadian of Cuban heritage. She is a multidisciplinary performance artist based in Toronto with a focus in voice and devised physical theatre. She has been a playwright resident at Factory Theatre, producer resident at Paprika Festival, and has collectively devised and produced pieces such as F*cking Perfect (Best of Toronto Fringe), DiablaDivina (Aluna Theatre), Not Your Mija 1 & 2 (Paprika Festival & Aluna Theatre). Jeysa is a graduate of Humber College Theatre Arts Performance program and a voice teacher training program by Fides Krucker who
developed Emotionally Integrated Voice. In tandem with devising and performing, she teaches voice at Humber College, Array Music and privately.
