NCNM 2024: OUT
A mild-mannered Sagittarius with the appetite of a small horse, Kalos Chu is a playwright and screenwriter from San Diego, California. His work centers around Asian identity, queer coming of age narratives, and how many licks it takes to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop. He has previously worked for DreamWorks Animation, Nickelodeon and Lucasflim, and has previously written for the Harvard-Radcliffe Dramatic Club and The Hasty Pudding Theatricals. His screenplay, The Crossroads, was a quarterfinalist for the 2023 Screencraft Animation Competition, and his most recent work, OUT, co-written with Ian Chan and JuHye Mun, debuted at the Agassiz Theater in Spring2023.
