Marzieh Darling

Marzieh Darling is a Hamilton-based writer, actor,  and musician whose primary occupation is as the lead singer of the Hamilton-based power pop band Superstar Crush. 

She is also the creator of The Coffeehouse and The Kitchen Sink, arts spaces devoted to dialogue and gathering, and writes on Substack about radical empathy, culture, and the emotional undercurrents of political life.

Alongside her artistic work, she recently graduated from UofT with a degree in International Relations and History and has worked within the United Nations Major Group NGO sector, engaging questions of global governance and institutional reform. Whether on stage, writing, or in policy spaces, she is most interested in how the arts, in every form, can transform and comment upon societal structures.
