Selected musical director credits include Ring Of Fire (Thousand Islands Playhouse); A Misfortune, Glenda’s Kitchen, The Dream Catchers, and The Voices of Canada (Charlottetown Festival); Once, Shrek and The Addams Family (Neptune Theatre); Snow White (Drayton Entertainment); Company (Theatre 20); Rocky Horror (Sudbury Theatre Centre), The Way Back To Thursday (orchestrator/MD, Theatre Passe Muraille), and Second City Toronto. Scott’s original musicals include A Misfortune (Charlottetown Festival, Next Stage Festival); Hero & Leander, Through The Gates (Summerworks Festival); and Sticky Fingers, Red Letter Day, and Nobody’s Children (Yellow Door Theatre Project).
Training: Graduate of York University’s MA program for music composition, and University of Toronto. Was the musical director intern at the Shaw Festival in 2012.
ETC.: Dora nominations in 2015 and 2024, and Merritt Award nominations 2016-2018. Also runs Hilltop Studios, which released the critically acclaimed, award winning indie videogame Lil’ Guardsman in 2024. He is currently working on their second title.
