Instructor - Triple Threat Teens
Skye Rogers (she/her) is excited to return to Theatre Aquarius as the Triple Threat Teens Dance Instructor! She is a dance and theatre artist based in Hamilton, devoted to making creative spaces for people to feel at home. As an educator, Skye is dedicated to the whole dancer, connecting movement to performance, and technique to emotion. Her creative process has a collaborative spirit, and she brings her diverse dance background, from ballet and contemporary, to tap and jazz, into her created movement. She is an alumnus of Randolph College (Performing Arts), Brock University (Arts Leadership), and formerly Apprentice Choreographer with Musical Stage Co. She is currently an Artistic Associate and Producer for Aeris Körper Contemporary Dance, and works with her collective, retrograde: dance in motion, to create new dance-theatre works that explore community and connection.
