A leader in arts education for over 30 years, Theatre Aquarius Theatre School has nurtured thousands of youth, fostering their creativity, confidence, and personal growth.
Aquarius’ Theatre School works with young artists of all experience and abilities to build and advance skills in music, dance, acting, and theatre making.
Taught by a faculty of working professional artists and industry leaders, Theatre School participants don’t only learn the mechanics of putting on a play — they develop deep bonds and friendships, learn about the power of ensemble, explore ideas about their world, community, and the feelings of others. Participants leave the Theatre School believing in themselves, ready to take action, make choices, and be brave.
Classes take place at both the Theatre Aquarius Arts Centre, located at 191 King William Street, and at Theatre Aquarius at 190 King William Street.
Fall Programs culminate in a class sharing in the Studio and Winter/ Spring programs culminate in a Main Stage Recital, giving young artists the exciting and unforgettable opportunity to perform for friends and family under the bright lights of the Theatre Aquarius mainstage.
Theatre Aquarius Theatre School upholds values of inclusion, equity, safety, and promotes critical thinking, imagination, and empathy.
